To Paul Hill For Perfect Attendance April 28, 1939. Your Teacher Mrs. John Eagle, celebrities within include Uncle Dave Macon, Wade Mainer, Charlie and Bill Monroe, Roy Hall and many, many more. Promotional and newspaper photos are pasted down within the album. Associated loose materials include an Uncle Dave Macon songbook, a photo of J.E. Mainer's Mountaineers, another of the Grand Ol' Opry cast during the 1940s and leaflets promoting several bands.
The album is
From Salisbury, North Carolina. By all accounts, album owner Paul Hill was devoted to playing mid-century country music.
Five early photos were removed from the album. The bulk of the collection is in fair to good condition.
