Lori Putnam is a Tennessee native who transitioned from a successful career in graphic design to full-time painting in the early 2000s. She studied with prominent artists including Dawn Whitelaw, Scott Christensen, and Quang Ho, working both en plein air and in the studio. Putnam has painted in more than 30 countries, creating works that emphasize light, atmosphere, and color harmony over literal representation. A Master Signature Member of the Oil Painters of America, her paintings have been exhibited internationally and are held in the collections of institutions including the Booth Western Art Museum, the Tucson Museum of Art, and the High Museum of Art.
