Two Large American Split Oak Orchard Baskets

Late 19th-early 20th century, woven in oak splints with bentwood rim, both of primitive round form with slightly concave base center, the shorter with "X" lashing at the rim, the taller with coiled basic lashing, unsigned.

Taller approximately 18 x 24 x 24 in.; shorter 14 1/2 x 25 1/2 x 25 1/2 in.
