Circa 1810, six board dovetailed construction, hinged lid with breadboard ends featuring distinctive through tenon joinery, fish-tail hinges, open interior revealing distinctive and unique exposed triangular block foot joinery, molded base, original straight bracket feet, interior with chamfered foot blocks.

Top with staining and tight shrinkage crack; rear board with tight shrinkage cracks near hinges; some faint traces of original blue paint.
