Probably Mauchline, Scotland, second half 19th century, decorated in the Royal Stuart pattern with "Stuart" labeled above the keyhole, sarcophagus form with gilt and accents, opening to three matching lidded compartments retaining some of the original tin lining, raised on carved bracket feet.
6 1/4 x 9 1/2 x 5 1/2 in.
Some surface rubbing and a few minor scratches; tea compartment wells with losses to some interior corner brackets and tin lining.
