Plainville, Connecticut, mid- 19th century, "Thirty Hour Marine Looking Glass Clock" with rosewood ogee frame, upper door with reverse painted black and gilt decoration encasing a clock with painted square zinc dial with arabic numerals, above looking glass, maker's label to interior of upper door.

33 1/2 x 19 1/4 x 3 in.

The verso with scattered insect damage; some silver degradation to mirror; frame with scattered chips to veneer; clock dial with visible surface scratching; paint loss to reverse painted door, unevenness to door closure with possible later latch.
