Continental, circa second quarter 20th century, of oval form, with applied lozenge form mounts the center decorated with a nymph rising from a forest pool, surrounding by floral swag, mounted to a conforming ebonized wood backing, unmarked.

37 x 27 x 1 1/2 in.

Upper mount possibly later, and with areas of silver loss; a few small chips to lozenge mounts; chipping and paint loss to wood.
