Includes (28) titles by authors such as Robert Penn Warren, Joseph Heller, Joan Didion, James Baldwin, and William Styron, as well as the following (10) first editions from the "Signed First Edition" series: John Updike's The Witches of Eastwick; Gore Vidal's Lincoln; Norman Mailer's Tough Guys Don't Dance; Joyce Carol Oates's Mysteries of Winterthurn; Allen Drury's Decision; Muriel Spark's The Only Problem; Leon Uris's The Haj; J.P. Donleavy's Leila; William F. Buckley, Jr.'s The Story of Henri Tod; and Louis Auchincloss's Exit Lady Masham; with no duplicate titles.

Occasional light wear to boards, toning to spines and endpapers, and scuffing or foxing to page edges; rare mark or spot of minor grime with text pages overall extremely clean; one volume with subtle water damage on a few leaves and one with the spine slightly cocked; each volume very good or about near fine.
