Continental Marquetry Inlaid Mahogany Adjustable Bookstand

Late 19th century, mixed woods, unsigned, serpentine back with inlaid scene of merry gypsy dancers flanked by oval figural and genre scenes to the pierced pediment as well as the dovetailed and hinged sides, sides expanding with further conforming inlaid decoration.
