From the Collection of Mignon Durham, Asheville, North Carolina Betty Helen Longhi was educated at the University of Wisconsin and Cranbrook Academy of Art, where she studied under Heikki Seppä. Her work was exhibited at the Virginia Museum, Delaware Art Museum, American Craft Museum, and SECCA. She co-authored the first comprehensive textbook on synclastic and anticlastic forming in 2013 with Cynthia Eid. She taught workshops across the US and Canada, including at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Parsons School of Design, Peters Valley Craft Center, and the Penland School of Craft.
