mukudj mask of a stylized and idealized woman with a tall coiffure, closed eyes and raised eyebrows (14 x 9 x 6 in.); and a Kwele
bata (ram) ceremonial mask with slitted eyes, heart-shaped face with mouth at the bottom, surrounded by ram-like horn frame (19 x 11 x 1/2 in.); and a Songye female
kifwebe mask with high-relief angular features and carved geometric patterning to whole, with pedestal (mask 17 x 8 x 6 1/4 in.).
From the Collection of the late Robert and Judith Weston, Detroit, Michigan Punu mask with loose element at base, some cracking to wood, a few scuffs mainly to top; some insect damage visible to verso of Kwele mask.
