Circa 1990s, the hinged bangle in the design of a long iron nail, flush set with full cut round diamonds weighing approximately .40 total carat (G-H color, SI1-SI2 clarity) in platinum bezels, with gold hinge and support, signed and inscribed Iron 18K Plat.

Pat Flynn is a goldsmith based in High Falls, New York, known for hand‑forged jewelry that pairs blackened iron with 22k/18k yellow gold, 18k palladium white gold, diamonds, and pearls. His cuffs and bracelets feature hinges, box clasps, and fused 22k gold on iron, with surfaces finished by hammering, engraving, etching, and filing. His work appears in Metalsmith and the Penland Book of Jewelry and is held by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Renwick Gallery, Art Institute of Chicago, Museum of Arts & Design, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and Yale University Art Gallery. He holds a BFA in Goldsmithing from SUNY New Paltz.
