20th century, including a Bwa (Burkina Faso) carved wood whistle (7 1/8 x 2 3/4 x 1 in.); a Swazi (South Africa) carved wood headrest with lug pendant to underside of crossbar and two fluted feet on each end (6 x 17 1/2 x 3 3/8 in.); a figural carved wood and animal hide slingshot, likely Central or West African, with two yellow bead eyes and a cowrie shell pendant (30 x 8 x 2 3/4 in.); and a carved wood Hehe (Tanzania) stool on three feet (6 1/4 x 9 3/4 x 9 1/2 in.).
