Early 20th century, hand-painted and gilt porcelain, single train movements, the taller in rocaille tower form, featuring a 2-inch enamel dial with flora garland decoration, Arabic chapters, and gilt hands, brass works with jeweled platform escapement, the verso retaining retailer label of "SCHAEFFER & ADDISON / Opticians and Jewelers, / N. E. COR. BROADWAY AND / PRATT ST., / BALTO., MD." above a French label, impressed and painted numbering to the case interior (15 x 5 1/4 x 3 1/4 in.); the second by Ansonia in squat rocaille form, 3-inch enamel dial behind glass within an ormolu bezel, brass suspension spring works, signed to the dial and brass works frame (10 1/4 x 9 x 5 in.).
