England, circa 1825-1840, unmarked, the first in rosewood veneers, deal secondary, with domed central lid panel, shield form key escutcheon mount, opens to twin tea compartments with removable lids retaining remnants of the original tin lining, central well with blown glass mixing cup, raised on brass ball feet (8 x 12 x 6 1/4 in.); the second in mahogany veneers, mahogany secondary, cast lion mask handles and round mother of pearl key escutcheon, opening to twin hinge-lidded tea compartments flanking a central leather lined mixing well, raised on ogee bracket feet (8 x 12 x 6 1/2 in.).
Both with some minor scratches and light nicks; rosewood example with later magenta painted paper to the interior, some veneer loss to lower front right corner and upper rim; mahogany example with later bracket feet; minor surface spotting to veneers.
