Private Collection, Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina Louise G. Burbank was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and was educated at the Rhode Island School of Design. She pursued further study in outdoor painting with Charles Woodbury in Ogunquit, Maine, and with Emile Gruppe. Her training also included portrait painting with Mildred Jones and Wilfred C. Duphiney, as well as the restoration and decoration of early American furniture with William L. Crowell.
Burbank taught at the Providence Handicraft Club, and her decorative work, outdoor paintings, and portraits are held in private collections. She was a member of the Providence Art Club, the Providence Handicraft Club, and the Rockport Art Association.
