Abraham Michael Dayan, born in 1960, is a contemporary painter working in Savannah, Georgia. Known for bold strokes, rich textures, and expressive color, his work draws early inspiration from Picasso while evolving into a highly personal style that resists strict categorization. After destroying his first body of work, Dayan relocated from France to the United States in 1999, where he emerged as a prolific artist exploring figural subjects, still life, and urban landscapes with emotional intensity. He has exhibited at the State Capitol Gallery and Lansdell Gallery in Atlanta, the International Art Festival in Savannah, and the Boca Raton Museum of Art Festival in Florida, and received Second Prize for Window Concept Painting from the Savannah Department of Cultural Affairs.
