Lila Bacon studied studio art at Parsons School of Design and earned her BFA from The New School in 1973. After graduation, she moved to Woodstock, New York, where she and her husband, Norman Bacon, opened Sweetheart Gallery, devoted primarily to American arts and crafts. Now based in North Carolina, Lila is a member of the Orange County Artists Guild, and her work has been featured in The New York Times and House and Garden.
