Born in Salisbury, NC, Pat Bowers studied art formally at Pfeiffer College in Misenheimer, NC and at the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, FL. She then studied under Professor Joe Cox at NC State University in Raleigh and at his artist's colony in Oriental, NC. Ms. Bowers has exhibited extensively throughout the state in both one woman and group shows. Her work is in private and public collections in the U.S., Europe, and Japan: R.J. Reynolds, Bank of America, among others.
