Mid-19th century, likely Paris porcelain or Rockingham, unmarked, painted and gilt porcelain inkwell, in the form of a seated setter or pointer on a rectangular mottled green and yellow terrace with gilt to the obverse, retaining pounce pot and lidded inkwell.

Gilt rubbing; a few firing hairlines visible to underside; a few scattered nicks.
