Mebane, the first a salt glazed stoneware jug in the form of a soldier, inscribed "CS" to sash (9 3/4 x 5 x 4 1/2 in.); the second a polychrome glazed earthenware jug with two applied handles in the form of a man with a red tie (14 x 6 1/2 x 5 in.); the third a brown glazed earthenware jug with one applied handle in the form of a man in a tuxedo, the bowtie, eyes, and teeth in matte white glaze (14 x 16 1/2 x 7 in.), all jugs signed to posterior.
