Three French Restauration Creamware Plates

Circa 1820s, tin glazed earthenware plates with black transfer decoration, the first with grape vines wrapping rim and a view of Alnwick Castle to center, labeled "Chateau d'Alnwick / Comte de Northumberland" and marked with government seal and impressed "CREIL" to underside (9 7/8 in. diameter); the second with lilies wrapping rim and King Louis XVIII to center, appears unmarked to underside (9 in. diameter); and the third with lilies and crowns wrapping rim and Louis Antoine Henri de Bourbon Condé, Duc d'Enghien to center, with Dorival et Méry mark and partial impression to underside (8 3/8 in. diameter). Included with the Lot are wire hangers for display.

All with scattered surface marks and scratches; the Alnwick castle plate with fading to transfer; Louis Antoine plate with a few chips to rim.
