(9) pieces to include (8) mid- to late 18th century plates: (4) miniature plates, impressed "LONDON" and with Christie's label to underside (4 3/8 in.); (1) plate with monogram to rim touch marks of Townsend and Compton and Thomas Giffin (working 1760-1777) to underside (9 3/4 in.); (1) plate stamped "ER" and "LONDON" with touch marks and quality mark to underside (9 5/8 in.); (1) plate stamped "HSS" and "Super Fine / Hard Metal" with touch mark and quality mark to underside (9 5/8 in.); and a Colonial Casting Company colonial revival plate, marked to underside (10 in.).
All with age appropriate wear; plate stamped "ER" with some denting to center.
