George III Mahogany Chest on Chest

Circa 1800, mahogany veneer, oak and pine secondary, two part form, dovetailed case, dentil molded cornice, over six graduated lipped drawers, the upper case with fluted canted corners and the lower case with a dressing slide, straight bracket foot base.

72.5 x 42 x 20.5 in.

Left waist trim is detached (but present); pulls are old and possibly original; missing one escutcheon plate; some warping to drawer fronts; drawer guides need replaced; feet are old and appear original, the front right foot facing with veneer chips.
