Circa 1978, comprised of silver tiles of varying sizes and curving to fit the body, and with fabric backing, the top portion of a solid design, integrated clasp set with a round lapis lazuli button, stamped Sterling Scherr and with another mark.

As a noted designer, Mary Ann Scherr's work can be found in the permanent collections of major museums including the Vatican Museum of Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art, National Museum of Art, and many others of note. Moving to North Carolina in 1989, she shared ownership in Raleigh's Roundabout Art Collective; her designs have been featured in the Gregg Museum of Art and Design, the Mahler, the Carolina Designer Craftsmen Guild, and the Penland School of Crafts.
