From the Collection of Francine Pilloff, Chapel Hill, North Carolina Thomas Mann is an American jeweler and sculptor based in New Orleans. He terms his design vocabulary “Techno‑Romantic,” combining industrial materials and aesthetics with thematic imagery, and works across jewelry and sculpture in a variety of metals. Mann oversees a jewelry design and production studio, a sculpture studio, and a gallery, and exhibits nationally and internationally. He was a featured artist in the PBS series Craft in America, and his work is in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Institution’s Renwick Gallery (Washington, D.C.) and the Museum of Art and Design (New York).
