Jean Stevan was a Belgian painter and engraver born in Brussels-Saint-Gilles and active primarily in Belgium. He is best known for serene landscapes, rural scenes, and still lifes inspired by the Belgian countryside. Exhibiting from as early as 1919 in cities such as Brussels and Antwerp, Stevan developed a quiet, lyrical style focused on atmosphere, light, and nature.
