Three Tennessee Egg Baskets, Including Mildred Youngblood and Dale Merritt

Late 20th century, rib type egg baskets woven in white oak splints finished with the traditional Cannon County tie, the largest with bentwood handle pencil inscribed to the interior X lashing "Mildred / Youngblood 1982" (14 x 14 x 13 in.); (2) egg baskets by Dale Merritt, both ink signed to the interior center, the slightly larger example dyed in red and blue with woven rim and handle (11 1/2 x 12 x 10 3/4 in.), and the other with bentwood handle (11 x 12 x 10 3/4 in.).
