Lucy Dickens is a British artist whose work spans lively figurative scenes, contemplative imagery, and imaginative landscapes. A great-great-granddaughter of Charles Dickens, she began her career as a full-time artist in 1990 after working as a fashion stylist and freelance illustrator for publications including The Financial Times, The Daily Telegraph, and Vogue. She began painting while writing and illustrating children’s books published in London and New York. Since then, Dickens has exhibited widely in solo and group shows across the UK and internationally.
