Richard “Rich” Bowman is a contemporary painter known for his expressive landscape and skyscape compositions that explore the emotional power of atmosphere and place. Born in Sherman, Texas, and now based in Missouri, Bowman was deeply influenced by the expansive plains and dramatic skies of the Midwest.

He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Kansas City Art Institute and worked for many years as an illustrator and design manager at Hallmark Cards, before transitioning into painting full time. Bowman’s works have been exhibited widely across the United States and featured in national art publications.

Good estate condition, scattered fiber residue to the surface, a few scratches to the frame.
