19th-early 20th century, the first hollow cut of a female wearing bonnet looking right, the verso with later notes possibly identifying the sitter as "Elizabeth Mallory Patton McLatchey / Second Wife of John (Mclatchey II) / Born 1 Jan 1787 Buncombe Co. NC / Died 1 October 1852 Habersham, Ga" (frame size 6 1/2 x 5 in.); the second a cut shepherd with flock mounted onto a watercolor pasture scene, within a reed wood frame (6 1/4 x 8 1/4 in.); (2) portraits cut and mounted within matching gilt metal pendant frames of a young man and older gent with hair in queue (4 1/4 x 2 3/4 in.); and two cut out portraits, depicting a "Girl" and "Boy" labeled to the posterior as by artist "Spencer" in matching framed with silvered matting (5 3/8 x 4 3/8 in.).
