Louis XV Carved Walnut Marble Top Buffet

Mid-18th century, pine secondary, likely original two inch thick black stone top with fossilized inclusions, two steel hinged doors with deep molded frame, shaped panel with relief carved scroll and foliate motifs, shelved interior with two upper fitted drawers, curved stiles with molded edge and surmounted by relief carved scroll and foliate motifs, shaped raised panel sides, scrolled skirt with relief carved edge and central star, whorl front feet.

Overall good age appropriate condition; the marble top with surface wear, scratches, dullness and pitting; old insect damage; very slight warp to right door (but still operates properly); later rear feet.
