Early to mid-20th century, including a brass pair by The George H Ford Co. (New Haven, Connecticut) with hand-painted enamel scenes of children among flowers, labeled to mother of pearl eye pieces; a brass pair by Le Maire (Paris, France) with scenes of courting couples in bucolic landscapes, labeled to mother of pearl eye piece; and a pair of folding glasses set within tooled leather purse with chain by La Mignonne (Paris, France) with painted enamel scene of a courting couple in landscape, labeled to folding clasp.

Brass pairs (when fully extended) 4 x 3 3/8 x 1 1/2 in.; pair in purse (when opened) 4 x 2 7/8 x 1 5/8 in.

All with working optics; Le Maire pair without mother of pearl to one eye piece; La Mignonne pair with some wear to leather case, some gapping at closure; both brass pairs with small areas of tarnish.
