Denmark, hand-painted and gilt porcelain, shape no. 3582, pattern no. 20, marked with green printed and blue wave factory marks with Latin botanical specimen name to the underside, both of oval tureen form, the conforming domed lid with sculptural floral branch handle, the first with 1985-1991 date marks to the cover and base, decorated in Veronica officinalis L. and Viola tricolor var. arenaria Lond. respectively; the second with 1969-1973 date to the cover and 1923-1934 date to the base, decorated in Taroncacum phymatocarpum Vahl. and Lysimachia nemorum L. respectively.
