Piedmont region, attributed to Rowan county, circa 1790, yellow pine secondary, one part form, the tall vertical form featuring a stepped cove molded cornice with stylized Greek key applique, two tall hinged triple raised panel doors, with molded frame, shelved interior with plate rail, applied waist molding, above two short lower hinged cabinet doors, single raised panel, molded frame, shelved interior, canted corners with applied molded edge, applied bracket foot facing with bold spur to a block, rose-head nail construction.

Original iron lock; early, likely original hinges.
Four inch cut, patch and repair to the left canted corner at rear edge; lower left foot is tipped on the left edge; blocking on both feet original; later rear foot; some later tin patches to the original back boards.
