Mid-Atlantic, probably Pennsylvania, early 19th century, two part form, mahogany veneer, poplar and white pine secondary, the recessed top featuring a central hinged prospect door flanked by two tambour doors, five small drawers total, six valanced pigeon holes, surmounted by a concealed long drawer in the upper frieze, the base with hinged fold out writing lid with loper supports above two flush long drawers raised on tall square tapered legs, the upper inlaid band to top board edge with distinctive triple stacked geometric line inlay, other herringbone inlays throughout, graduated bellflower and dot inlay at legs.
