Attributed to Eastern Virginia or North Carolina, circa 1780, oak and yellow pine secondary, the rectangular table with rectangular drop leaves and double gate-leg support, dovetailed skirt frame, each gate-leg with an oak fly rail, each square leg with double inside chamfer.
26.75 x 48 x 20 in., each leaf 18.75 in.
Top reset; missing some medial braces; original central medial is present; hinges are old and appear original; each leg had casters (now lacking); one central end leg with wood crack at skirt leg; one corner leg with a five inch cut, patch and repair at top corner; both center legs are old but appear later; some dark staining to top surface.
