Circa 1800, possibly Adams shop of Guilford County, poplar, white pine and yellow pine secondary, the dovetailed case featuring a finished two board top surface and applied molded cornice, three over two over four graduated lipped drawer configuration, fluted quarter columns, molded base raised on robust ogee feet with bold spur.
62.75 x 42 x 22 in., case width 39.5 in.
Shrinkage and separation at top boards and slight warp; pulls are later with plug holes (some detached but present); Germanic under-drawer wooden mechanism to four upper small drawers; ogee feet are original, shrinkage crack to the front right foot.
