Circa 1800, mahogany veneer, pine secondary, three part form, the cornice with light and dark wood inlay over applied drops to frieze, the bookcase with two hinged doors with large interlaced ring mullions with banded inlays, divided and louvered shelf interior with fabric backing, the base with banded line inlay to the top, butler's drawer with well appointed interior featuring a hinged prospect door flanked by fluted columns, the cabinet is released with a hidden interior open panel which released the prospect case revealing hidden drawers, flanked by ten pigeonholes and six small drawers all with edge inlays, green baize writing surface, the case with two hinged paneled lower doors, shelved interior, straight bracket feet, stamped to the top edge of the bottom right door "Wyman, Coswell St. E.C."

Lazenby, Pittsboro, North Carolina Bookcase retains old wavy glass (likely original); later interior fabric backing with staining; top of chest of hairline cracks to both front corners; later pulls; later green baize in poor condition; pull out prospect cabinet is difficult to operate; lower right door with crack and repairs to hinge areas; both lower panels with shrinkage cracks and warping; lower case sides with shrinkage cracks.
