England, wool on linen, the upper alphanumeric registers worked in green and red cross stitch, separated by decorative borders, with large house and baskets of fruit and floral motifs below, with lions and avian figures, the center panel signed in dark brown, "Ann Snowden her work / finished in the 8 year of / her age in the year of / our Lord 1822," matted and framed in gilded frame under plexiglass.
