Hand-hammered gold frame, bezel set to the center with a carved mother-of-pearl cameo of Diane De Poitiers and Henry II under glass, with four post set pearls (6.0mm to 6.5mm) and collet set with four square diamonds (3mm), completed with a single locking pin stem, maker's mark to back with British hallmarks for 18KT and inscribed "Diane De Poitiers & Henri II / 1548-1559".
