Wool on cotton foundation, finely and densely knotted, the central sunburst medallion in red and blue on a cream ground filled with vining floral and palmette motifs, with deer, lion, tiger, and dragon motifs, the taupe spandrels filled with floral and avian motifs, the wide main border with large-scale floral motifs alternating with navy blue cartouches featuring poetic script, within multiple minor floral borders, inscription in small cartouche to one end, with one fringe end and one end bound.
