Serial number 137879 present on forward right side of frame, text of MADE IN BRAZIL GARCIA SPORTING ARMS WASH, D.C. present on right side of frame, text of 38 SPECIAL present along right side of pinned 2 3/8 in. cut down barrel with blade front sight, ROSSI insignia present on side plate, incomplete text present on left side of barrel due to barrel length change, exposed color cased pinned nose hammer and color cased trigger, nickel plated, checkered wood grip scales with ROSSI medallion inlays.

Overall poor estate condition, cut down barrel modification done with some skill, front sight relocation well done, nickel finish tarnished and muted throughout, trigger, hammer and cylinder well timed with no discernible end shake, grip scale checkering remains sharp and clean with one chip at top of right scale.
