England, tortoiseshell veneers, the larger a sarcophagus form tea caddy, circa 1820, with silvered shield escutcheon, open interior with later lining, raised silvered reeded ball feet (4 x 5 x 3 3/8 in.); the second a small rectangular keepsake box, circa 1830s, hinged lid with central silvered cartouche monogrammed "MG," open interior with mirror to lid underside, raised on silvered ball feet (1 1/2 x 2 3/4 x 2 in.).
