A restoration was completed upon re-acquisition from the owner in 2011. Notes indicate the engine was replaced with a stroked Ford 302 cubic inch (347/349ci) V8 engine, with a four-speed manual transmission. The shop that completed the work confirmed this. The engine looks stock, aside from the LAT aluminum valve covers. An aluminum radiator is also installed. Braking was upgraded with Wilwood brake master cylinder, with Wilwood calipers in the front and factory brakes in the rear.
The exterior was repainted in Signal Red, with a matching factory hardtop. A white vinyl soft top was chosen, and the interior finished in black. The woodgrain dash, with chrome trimmed gauges. Many LAT options were added during the restoration to include 70 Series polished aluminum wheels, Tiger aluminum valve covers, fiberglass hood scoop, and competition headers. A Nardi classic steering wheel , and lap belts were also added.
