France, early 20th century, heavy gilt brass case with two plinth supports with Empire relief mounts and pinecone finials, framing a round drum case with 4-inch dial signed "Hour Lavigne / a Paris," dual manual wind train spring driven movement with alarm function, raised on a rectangular foliated molded terrace with four toupie feet, stamped with the marker's mark and numbered " 9612 A FRANCE" to the underside.
