Mary Paulsen, a North Carolina native raised in Sunset Beach, grew up in a large family of ten children and learned resilience early after losing her father at sea. Later widowed with two young children, she built a life through hard work in Calabash, NC. Guided by faith, creativity, and humor, Mary began transforming discarded materials into vibrant works of art and constructed a whimsical village in her garden to house thousands of restored dolls and support charitable causes. Known for her bright reverse-glass paintings and playful titles, her joyful, recycled artwork now hangs in collections across all fifty states and around the world.
Good estate condition, light wear and grime.
