An English Neoclassical Giltwood Mirror, circa 1800

Oak, the upper tablet features a plastic sheet with a cerulean blue and gilt diapered pattern, above a lower mirror plate, applied composition ornament in the classical taste includes a lion mask and floral vines, later gilding.
