His work draws from popular culture and cinematic history, often focusing on iconic objects such as firearms, cameras, and automobiles to explore themes of identity, media influence, and cultural perception.
Known for his highly polished surfaces and use of industrial materials, Georgopoulos is influenced by the West Coast “Finish Fetish” movement of the 1960s. His work bridges fine art and design, combining technical precision with provocative subject matter to examine the relationship between aesthetics, technology, and contemporary culture.
