The first a William IV tea caddy, circa 1830, high grade mahogany veneers with butterfly figuring, mixed wood border inlays with gilt bronze lion ring handles, inlaid hexagonal key escutcheon, red papered interior with central mixing well flanked by dual lidded compartments, retaining much of the original tin lining (5 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 5 3/4 in.); the second a hinge-lidded box in solid exotic wood with ornate brass wirework inlays (1 1/4 x 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 in.).
